Effective last Jan. 1, 2010, small businesses are eligible for tax credits to help them provide insurance benefits to their workers.
A "small business" is defined as having 100 or fewer employees. States may define small as companies with 50 or fewer employees until 2016. Businesses that grow to have more employees will remain grandfathered in as small.
Hundreds of thousands of small businesses have begun providing health insurance to employees since the federal health reform law was signed.
Many of those mandatory reforms do not go into effect until 2014, but we advise small business owners to start planning for what is ahead.
Avoid Government PENALTIES and Stress, we will help you prepare for the upcoming changes.
